Stop it Tavi! You’re Making Us All Look Bad!

So we all know who Tavi Gevinson is, but for those of you who don’t know, here’s a quick run down: Tavi is a the 13 year old girl who has taken the fashion blogging industry by storm. She started her blog Style Rookie when she was only 11 years old and since then has appeared on the cover of POP magazine, featured in Teen Vogue and is a regular at the hottest shows at almost every fashion week.

Jealous yet? Well, this might just do it. Tavi has teamed up with Diane Pernet to find the next big fashion filmmaker. Paris-based journalist Diane Pernet is the Co-Editor-in-Chief for ZOO Magazine and is the founder of legendary fashion blog A Shaded View On Fashion . Pernet is also the founder of A Shaded View On Fashion Film Festival a festival of short films and videos from around the world exploring themes of fashion, beauty and style.

Tavi and Diane are on the hunt for the next fashion filmmaker to be screened at ‘A Shaded View on Fashion Film 2010’, the third edition of Paris’s annual fashion film festival. They have created a once in a life time opportunity for all die hard fashionistas and emerging fashion filmmakers to submit their best fashion film feature or short around the theme of Fashion, Style or Beauty and be featured in this prestigious fashion film festival. The submissions will by shortlisted by the public vote and Diane and Tavi will then select the winning filmmaker to have his/her film screened as part of the next edition of ASVOFF which will then travel around to select cities around the world. So, if you feel like you’ve got the talent submit your entry to Talenthouse by July 19th 2010 at www.talenthouse.com

Good Luck!
